Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra - Atlanta

Today we did a photo shoot with a few of the members of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestras (MYSO) of Atlanta.


MYSO has been enriching the lives of young musicians here in Atlanta for more than 16 years.  MYSO provides talented young musicians the opportunity to expand their musical training beyond what is available in their school orchestra or band programs. 

Each year, MYSO holds its major fundraising event: “MYSO ANNUAL GALA,” consisting of dinner, dancing, a silent auction, and performances by the musicians,  This year, the Gala is being held on Saturday Evening,  February 13, 2010 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.  More than 400 people attend this event from more than 16 Metropolitan Atlanta counties. 

Chuck Williams Photography will be participating in this upcoming GALA next weekend and are looking forward to photographing more of the Symphony members and their families.


Sharon Fike, President of the Metropolitan Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra is still in need of a few volunteers to help out this coming Saturday Night at the Silent Auction.  If you are a High School Senior or older and are interested in earning service hours, contact Beverly Williams (404 925-2921) and I will put you in touch with the appropriate person at MYSO.
