Meet Bailey - Senior High School Student at Hillgrove

As a part of Graduation requirements for Seniors at Hillgrove High School in Cobb County, seniors have to participate in and complete a semester-long senior project. For their senior project, students are encouraged to choose a subject they are interested in learning more about or pursuing as a career. Students must research their subject and do an

apprenticeship with a mentor in the field in which they are interested.

We have had the privilege of mentoring several students from Hillgrove. Last semester, Chuck worked with Dezirae Lawrence, whose Senior project topic was photography. Dezirae was just recently accepted to SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) as a photography major. We are very proud of Dezirae!

This semester, we are excited to be working with two more students from Hillgrove. First, we will be mentoring Bailey Reeves. Bailey's topic is entrepreneurship. Bailey will be working with Beverly on the 2010 Prom Dress Consignment sale. Specifically, she will be helping to design our 2010 Prom Dress Consignment Sale Website and will also be serving as

the primary point person helping conduct all aspects of the sale.

Here is a photo of Bailey as she is finalizing the Prom Dress Sale Website. We are hoping

it will "go live" within 24 hours!

We will also be working with Lindsey Greenoe from Hillgrove. Lindsey will be working with both Beverly and

Chuck. Her senior project topic is Photography (the history of photography from film to digital).
