If you are a resident of Cobb County, you might be interested to know about a brand new 911 System Called Code Red. Code Red is an emergency notification system that begins today, 2/1/10.
The Code Red system will be used by Cobb County to contact Cobb County Residents at their home phone and/or cell phone in the event of a county emergency. You must register your phone numbers with the county in order to be placed on this notification system. Examples of emergencies in which you might be notified include:
Bio-terrorism alerts, Boil water notices, Missing child reports, Evacuation Notices, etc.
