Senior Photo Shoot - Ellyse (Hillgrove High School)

Meet Ellyse! We met Ellyse, her mom and her sister this weekend when they came to our studio for her Senior photo shoot.

Ellyse is a senior at Hillgrove High School. We fell in love with Ellyse and her family and quickly got to know each other, discovering along the way that we know several people in common. What a small world!

We had so much fun with Ellyse.

We took so many photos that her mom and sister got tired and decided to call it a day, but Ellyse stayed with us and we spent a large part of the afternoon photographing her both in the studio and in a variety of natural outdoor settings.

Ellyse is looking forward to studying Pre-med after graduation.

Ruth O - McEachern High School Senior

Today was a fun day. Beverly spent the afternoon with Ruth O, a senior at McEachern High School.


Ruth's friend, Destine, also went with us. Most of the photos we took were of Ruth, but we managed to get a couple of shots of Destine too.

We did some pictures in and around Powder Springs and ended up at the high school. We were looking around at some ideas and came upon this huge truck (I mean huge) that was painted blue and had the McEachern Logo on the side and at the top of the truck cab.

I immediately thought "wow...that would make a great background but we'd have to climb up on that truck.....

Well let's just say....we got the photo. Her feet are on the windshield... (See Photo Below on Truck)

Ruth and Destine are so funny and it was a great afternoon. Also got to meet a

couple of people at McEachern who I had not met in person, but who are fans of our facebook page. I'd like to give a shout out to Pamela Ramos!! It was nice to meet you in person today.

Lindsey

This is Lindsey.  Lindsey is a Senior at Hillgrove High School and is another sweet, blonde, blue eyed girl that we know.  We first met Lindsey this summer when she called and asked us to do her Senior Portrait Photos.  We had a great time with Lindsey and her mom at her Senior Photo Shoot.

We had the pleasure of working with Lindsey again, this time doing some photos for her for our Girls Night Out Session.  Lindsey also has an interest in photography.  She has a  big Lit project coming up for her Senior Year and has chosen photography as her subject.  We are going to be working with her on her project and are looking forward to spending more time with Lindsey this semester.

A FUN photo shoot in with Seniors in Atlanta

On Sunday, we spent the afternoon in downtown Atlanta with three amazing high school seniors....Kellie Church from McEachern, Taylon Sharer from McEachern, and Dezirae Lawrence from Hillgrove.
We had a great time roaming around all throughout the city.  The weather was perfect!

We always love doing photo shoots in Downtown Atlanta.  There are so many wonderful places to go and there's so much to see.  Seniors generally love it as well.  Going downtown and getting away is always fun for them...it's nice to get out of the suburbs and into the city. There's just something exciting about it.

Downtown Atlanta has so much to offer in terms of fantastic scenery and backgrounds.  It's the perfect location for senior portraits...from a trendy settings to urban graffiti...downtown has it all!

After our photo shoot we stopped in at a quaint little Italian Cafe' in Atlanta for some delicious pasta.  We had a great time on Sunday with Kellie, Taylon and Dezirae.  We've received lots of positive feedback on Facebook from this particular photo shoot.  Our calendar is filling up for November and December!  So if you're thinking about scheduling a session, just give us a call and we'll be happy to work with you.

We love babies!

We haven't blogged since this summer! We had an incredibly busy and sad summer. Beverly's dad became critically ill and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer the first part of July. So in addition to our normal busy lives, and the photography, Beverly became very busy in helping out with her father. He passed away on Labor Day which has left a very sad void in our family.

But when God takes one life away, he also brings a new one into this world.  We have been privileged to work with several infants over the past several weeks and as always, we thoroughly enjoy these special sessions with the babies and their families.

Below are a few of our favorite portraits from some of our recent infant sessions. Let us know how you like them.

Meet Ansley McVey...
The first group are photos of precious 4 day old Ansley McVey.  Ansley is the beautiful baby daughter of Chelsea McVey and the granddaughter of Angie Pittman.  We spent the afternoon with Ansley, Chelsea and Angie and had a great time together.  Chelsea is the perfect Mommy.  Ansley is the perfect baby...sweet, angelic, and just beautiful.  Almost makes us want another one!  We worked around Ansley's schedule of sleeping and eating and tried to get some good shots of her during our time together.  Here are a few of our favorite ones:
