Little Maddie - 9 months

We recently had the pleasure of photographing Maddie for her 9 month portraits. Isn't she just the cutest little girl? We began photographing her parents, Jamie and Lloyd when Jamie was pregnant. Beverly actually met Jamie one day while at lunch in a restaurant in Smyrna Village. We got together with Jamie and Lloyd for a beautiful, maternity session and now have the pleasure of photographing their sweet little one, Maddie.

Photo Shoot In Powder Springs

Today we had a photo shoot with three seniors in and around the Powder Springs area.  We had a great time wandering around town and even had a three week old baby with us!

Don't you just love her gorgeous red hair and blue eyes?
Kellie is a senior at McEachern High School.  She is a Varsity Cheerleader.
Kellie just participated in our downtown Atlanta photo shoot this past weekend and also participated in the Powder Springs photo shoot today.

Meet Chelsea!  

Chelsea is a new mom --- she just had her first little girl, Ansley, only three weeks ago.  We were honored to do Chelsea's maternity photos, and Ansley's newborn photos as well.  Today, Chelsea had a chance to get out of the house for a photo shoot.  She's a wonderful new mom and looks totally amazing to have just had a baby.  There's something about Chelsea's photos that remind me of a successful County Music artist....don't these look like they could be CD covers?

Meet Katherine!  

Katherine is a senior this year at Hillgrove.  Katherine is our daughter.  She has had her photo taken so many times, that she doesn't really get too excited anymore when we mention "photo shoot".  However, she just recently had her hair cut, so we thought it would be a good time to have some new photos taken.

We are so excited that this month has been great in terms of bookings.

So far this month we have already done six senior photo shoots and still have the following shoots scheduled for the remainder of October:

We love babies!

We haven't blogged since this summer! We had an incredibly busy and sad summer. Beverly's dad became critically ill and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer the first part of July. So in addition to our normal busy lives, and the photography, Beverly became very busy in helping out with her father. He passed away on Labor Day which has left a very sad void in our family.

But when God takes one life away, he also brings a new one into this world.  We have been privileged to work with several infants over the past several weeks and as always, we thoroughly enjoy these special sessions with the babies and their families.

Meet Ansley McVey...
The first group are photos of precious 4 day old Ansley McVey.  Ansley is the beautiful baby daughter of Chelsea McVey and the granddaughter of Angie Pittman.  We spent the afternoon with Ansley, Chelsea and Angie and had a great time together.  Chelsea is the perfect Mommy.  Ansley is the perfect baby...sweet, angelic, and just beautiful.  Almost makes us want another one!  We worked around Ansley's schedule of sleeping and eating and tried to get some good shots of her during our time together.  Here are a few of our favorite ones:
