Congratulations to one of our Senior Models - Dezirae Lawrence!!

Many photographers who specialize in High School Senior portraits have a team of high school seniors working with them who are their "Senior Models".  This year we have been very fortunate to work with a fantastic group of teens from several local high schools.  One teen in particular, Dezirae Lawrence, who attends Hillgrove High School, is very interested in becoming a photographer.  For her Senior High project, she selected the subject "photography" and has been mentoring with Chuck on this project for awhile.

Dezirae is a very focused and driven teenager.  She is delightful and easy to work with.  Due to her love of photography and desire to pursue this in college, her dream has been to attend SCAD - Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta as a photography major.  We would like to congratulate Dezirae, as she was just notified yesterday of her acceptance into SCAD!  Way to go Dezirae!!  We are so proud of you!!!

Angela and Arnaldo's Wedding Day

This past weekend we had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Angela Harris and Arnaldo San Martin.  Angela and Arnaldo were married on Saturday afternoon in Atlanta at the Piedmont Room at Park Tavern.

The day was perfect and the wedding was beautiful. The skyline of Atlanta provided a beautiful setting for photos after the ceremony.

Photo Shoot In Powder Springs

Today we had a photo shoot with three seniors in and around the Powder Springs area.  We had a great time wandering around town and even had a three week old baby with us!

Kellie is a senior at McEachern High School.  She is a Varsity Cheerleader.
Kellie just participated in our downtown Atlanta photo shoot this past weekend and also participated in the Powder Springs photo shoot today.

Meet Chelsea!  

Chelsea is a new mom --- she just had her first little girl, Ansley, only three weeks ago.  We were honored to do Chelsea's maternity photos, and Ansley's newborn photos as well.  Today, Chelsea had a chance to get out of the house for a photo shoot.  She's a wonderful new mom and looks totally amazing to have just had a baby.  There's something about Chelsea's photos that remind me of a successful County Music artist....don't these look like they could be CD covers?

Meet Katherine!  

Katherine is a senior this year at Hillgrove.  Katherine is our daughter.  She has had her photo taken so many times, that she doesn't really get too excited anymore when we mention "photo shoot".  However, she just recently had her hair cut, so we thought it would be a good time to have some new photos taken.

We are so excited that this month has been great in terms of bookings.

So far this month we have already done six senior photo shoots and still have the following shoots scheduled for the remainder of October:

A FUN photo shoot in with Seniors in Atlanta

On Sunday, we spent the afternoon in downtown Atlanta with three amazing high school seniors....Kellie Church from McEachern, Taylon Sharer from McEachern, and Dezirae Lawrence from Hillgrove.
We had a great time roaming around all throughout the city.  The weather was perfect!

We always love doing photo shoots in Downtown Atlanta.  There are so many wonderful places to go and there's so much to see.  Seniors generally love it as well.  Going downtown and getting away is always fun for them...it's nice to get out of the suburbs and into the city. There's just something exciting about it.

Downtown Atlanta has so much to offer in terms of fantastic scenery and backgrounds.  It's the perfect location for senior portraits...from a trendy settings to urban graffiti...downtown has it all!

After our photo shoot we stopped in at a quaint little Italian Cafe' in Atlanta for some delicious pasta.  We had a great time on Sunday with Kellie, Taylon and Dezirae.  We've received lots of positive feedback on Facebook from this particular photo shoot.  Our calendar is filling up for November and December!  So if you're thinking about scheduling a session, just give us a call and we'll be happy to work with you.

We love babies!

We haven't blogged since this summer! We had an incredibly busy and sad summer. Beverly's dad became critically ill and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer the first part of July. So in addition to our normal busy lives, and the photography, Beverly became very busy in helping out with her father. He passed away on Labor Day which has left a very sad void in our family.

But when God takes one life away, he also brings a new one into this world.  We have been privileged to work with several infants over the past several weeks and as always, we thoroughly enjoy these special sessions with the babies and their families.

Meet Ansley McVey...
The first group are photos of precious 4 day old Ansley McVey.  Ansley is the beautiful baby daughter of Chelsea McVey and the granddaughter of Angie Pittman.  We spent the afternoon with Ansley, Chelsea and Angie and had a great time together.  Chelsea is the perfect Mommy.  Ansley is the perfect baby...sweet, angelic, and just beautiful.  Almost makes us want another one!  We worked around Ansley's schedule of sleeping and eating and tried to get some good shots of her during our time together.  Here are a few of our favorite ones:
