New Friends - Tyrone and Benjamin....
Meet Tyrone Betters.....
Tyrone Betters was born March 29, 1990 in Dallas, Texas. He is the son of Kandie Betters and William Tyrone Moore, Jr.
Earlier in his life, Tyrone's first love was basketball. He dreamed of being a professional NBA player. In high school, he felt that he was kind of an outcast. He remembers that he had low self-esteem, allowed himself to get picked on, and really had more acquaintances than friends. Even though he played sports he still felt alone.
In the summer before going into his senior year, he and his family moved to Marietta, Georgia because of his father’s job. He attended Hillgrove High School and graduated in May of 2008. The following fall, he began his college career at Georgia Southern University.
It was during his freshman year at Georgia Southern that Tyrone fell in love with modeling. He tried out for an annual fashion show on campus called Blaqshion, joined D.I.M.E.S, a fashion organization on campus, and the rest is history.
In the summer of 2008, Tyrone signed to an all male agency called On Display Men, based out of Dallas, Tx. He has done numerous shows and dozen’s of photoshoots. He is working diligently to get to the next level of his modeling career. He just completed a fundraising campaign for Cin2 underwear. He recently teamed up with Dubble A, Dj Supaman, and Shatavia Harper to become a part of the PCP family as the one and only male promotional model.
Tyrone makes it an effort to keep God first and tries his hardest to be a successful model. He is currently a Sophmore at Georgia Southern University studying Business Management, with emphasis in Entrepreneurship.
Tyrone contacted us recently and wanted to add to his modeling portfolio. In order to have a well rounded portfolio, he needed to incorporate a child into his modeling session. Companies often look for a modeling portfolio that shows that they can work well with infants, children, as well as with adults.
Beverly spent an afternoon with Tyrone and with Little Benjamin Steed. Benjamin is the four month old, infant son of Sara Margaret Steed. Benjamin and Tyron instantly hit it off. Tyrone is great with kids and hopes to have some of his own one day.
Benjamin was quite a trooper during our photo session. Although the temperature outside was extremely warm and humid, he did great and was fantastic to photograph. His mom, Sara Margaret is an amazing new mom and we all had a lot of fun together during the afternoon.
