Wedding Countdown to this weekend for Jeremy and Lane!!

In just a few days, we'll be on our way to Navarre Beach, FL to photograph our first wedding of the season.....a romantic, morning beach wedding of an amazing couple -- Jeremy Evans and Lane Sansom. We are so excited for this sweet couple and we can't wait till Saturday morning when they say "I Do" and become husband and wife!

We featured Jeremy and Lane on our blog a few months ago, but with their wedding just a few days away, we thought it would be fitting to talk about them again.

Several months ago, Lane entered our Engagement Photo Session contest. She and Jeremy were the winners and won a complimentary engagement session with us. They live in Dothan, Alabama and traveled to Atlanta for their photo session. On their way up, their car broke down and they were heartbroken. The car needed a new alternator. Thankfully, they found a mechanic and were able to get their car repaired in just a few hours, so our photo session still took place, just a few hours after it was originally scheduled.

Their engagement session was so much fun! You could just feel the love they have for each other and could see it in their eyes. Nothing is sweeter than a couple who seem to adore each other!

Lane grew up in Dothan Alabama, graduated from Auburn University and after graduation, spent a year in Thailand. Jeremy is from Puyallup, Washington. He graduated from West Point and has been stationed in Italy, Iraq and Japan. Jeremy is currently in flight school with the Army and is residing in Dothan.

Lane and Jeremy met last September at a friend's birthday party. Jeremy proposed to Lane on New Years Day.

Chuck, Chris and I will all be traveling down together to photograph their wedding this weekend. It's nice to have three photographers in the family and we are all excited about heading south for the weekend.

To Lane and Jeremy....congratulations on the most special day of your life. Thank you for choosing us to be your wedding photographers! May God bless your lives together as you embark on this new journey as husband and wife!

Here Come The Brides!

Wow...it's been a really long time since we blogged. Things have been going well and thankfully, we are staying really busy. It's been a gorgeous spring for photography. We've been blessed with lots of new babies, maternity photo sessions, some families and lots of high school seniors.

In addition, we've two upcoming weddings within the next 6 weeks that we are really excited about! Both grooms are in the Army and are proudly serving our country.

The first wedding is scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend. The bride is Lane Sansom and the groom is Jeremy Evans. Beverly went to high school with Lane's mom, Vanita Boulware Sansom. Jeremy is currently in the Army and is attending flight school.

Lane and Jeremy are having a romantic beach wedding at Navarre Beach, FL. Beverly, Chuck and Chris will all be traveling down together to photograph this wedding.

We also have a wedding coming up the 5th of June. Kristina Crider is the bride and Bobby Lingerfelt is the groom. Bobby is presently stationed at Fort Benning where he is going through basic training with the US Army.

We are excited about our upcoming spring weddings!

This past weekend, we hosted a bridal photo session in and around the Atlanta area. The purpose of this session was to try some new poses, seek out some new and exciting locations and add a few new images to our bridal portfolio. We had a great time with Allison Bentley, Kristina Crider and Lindsey Woodruff. They all made beautiful brides! We wanted to share some photos with you from our Atlanta photo bridal session. Kristina is the brunette and is our soon-to-be June bride!

Meet Lane and Jeremy - Engagement Contest Winners

Earlier today we featured a newly engaged couple, Rachel and Clegg, who recently won a complimentary Engagement Session with us.

Now, we are excited to introduce our our second winning couple who are also in the midst of planning the wedding of their dreams. They too, have won a complimentary Engagement Portrait Session and print package!

Meet Lane and Jeremy....

Engagement Contest Winners - Rachel and Clegg

Earlier this month, in honor of Valentine's Day, we ran a contest for Engaged Couples. This contest was open to anyone who recently became engaged and all they had to do was submit their names, engagement date and wedding date to us for the chance of winning a complimentary Engagement Photo Session and Portrait Package. We had a tremendous response to this and so instead of drawing the names of just one lucky couple....we drew three!

Over the next week, we will be highlighting each of these couples in our Blog. So without further ado....meet Rachel Dawn Geiger and Clegg Snipes!

Clegg and Rachel met in 2007 at Troy University in Troy, Alabama. Clegg grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and decided to attend Troy University because of a baseball scholarship. Rachel grew up in Hartford, Alabama and decided to attend Troy University because of an academic scholarship. They both graduated from Troy University in 2008.

Family is important to both Clegg and Rachel. Clegg is a triplet and Rachel has two brothers and two sisters. Clegg plays professional baseball and Rachel is a math teacher. Rachel is also a full time graduate student.

Rachel and Clegg are planning their wedding for this coming October in Slocomb, Alabama. We are looking forward to photographing Rachel and Clegg for their upcoming complimentary Engagement Photo Session!
