Thanks for a Tremendous Sale!

Thanks to everyone who helped with the Prom Dress Consignment Sale. Despite a snow blizzard on Tuesday, the sale was a tremendous success! Thank you to all of our Sellers, Our Volunteers, our Customers, Our Corporate Sponsors and to everyone who helped make this event possible.

A special thanks to Bailey Reeves, Senior at Hillgrove High School, who took this on as her senior project and helped design and build the website for our sale and who was there every minute from beginning to end. Thank you also to Bailey's Mom, Susan Reeves, who was also there from beginning to end and who played a huge role in keeping us organized. Thanks to Bailey's dad, Tony for helping pack everything up after the sale ended. Thanks to Lisa Kerley for providing our Prom Jewelry and who was also there from start to finish and who provided dinner on the last night to all of our volunteers!

Thank you to my daughter, Katherine and husband Chuck, who supported me completely from the moment the idea was born through the very end. Katherine and several friends, Shelby Thompson & Thomas Moore, even stayed ALL NIGHT, every night for four nights, to make sure our dresses were safe after hours. Thank you!

Thanks to our Prom Models, and to the countless volunteers who helped in so many ways. You guys were all amazing and we had a great time with you this week.

Lots of girls were able to get beautiful dresses for prom at a fraction of the cost of what they would have paid for a new dress. Not only that, but this event offered other girls the opportunity to sell their own dresses, and make a little money doing so.

The best part of it all were the new friendships that were made through everyone working together. I continue to be amazed at all of the wonderful teenagers we have in this community. Thanks to each and every one of you!!

There are going to be some gorgeous girls in fabulous dresses at this year's prom! We are already planning to do this sale again next year! If you shopped our sale this year, we'll stay in touch and let you know about our next sale so that you can put your dresses in it to sell.
