Congratulations Lane and Jeremy!!!

A BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR A WEDDING

This past weekend we had the honor of photographing an amazing beach wedding for Lane Sansom Evans and Jeremy Evans at Navarre Beach, Florida. Although there was a chance of rain in the forecast, the weather

proved to be absolutely beautiful!

The wedding took place at 9:30 am, so needless to say, our day began bright and early. Chuck and Chris met the groom and groomsmen to do some pre-ceremony beach photos and Beverly met at the Bride's condo at 7:45 am with the Lane, her mom and all of the bridesmaids to do some "getting ready" photos.

y was so much fun....we were able to get some great poses of everyone from helping Lane with her hair and make up, to having her mom help her button her dress. We love to document the entire day through a photojournalistic approach to photography. Our style is to capture both candid and posed shots throughout the day.

THE CEREMONY

As we made our way from the Bride's condo to the beach, it was evident that even though it was still very early in the morning...the temperature was extremely hot. When we arrived at Navarre Beach, the sand was as white as snow and the water was an amazing combination of emerald green and sky blue. The day was beautiful and it was the most perfect setting for a beach wedding that I've ever seen.

The ceremony was just

beautiful. No one could have asked for a more beautiful setting. Lane looked absolutely amazing and Jeremy was as handsome a groom as we've ever seen. As soon as the ceremony was over, we did a quick photo session on the beach with the wedding party. The sun quickly became unbearably hot and we had to cut things short because the bride began to feel faint. We hurried her back up to the pavilion, where the bridal party fanned her until she could cool back down.

ROCK THE RECEPTION

The reception took place outside, under one of the beach pavilions. Everything was perfect -- a delicious brunch was served to all the guests. There was music and dancing and everyone had the time of their lives! When the wedding party arrived, they all changed into the coolest Converse All Star Tennis shoes. Everyone wore a different color....it was such a fun idea and we loved the contrast of wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and suits with colored Converse All Stars!

About mid-way through the reception, a song suddenly came on and one by one, the wedding party and Bride's mom, ventured onto the dance floor presenting a surprise choreographed dance routine for the guests. Even some of the guests ventured on to the floor and participated. It was so much fun to watch and we all had a blast capturing it through photography and video.

BEST WEDDING PARTY EVER

There was just something about this wedding and reception....the closeness of the family was amazing. Lane is one of four children. She has two other sisters and one brother. They all had the time of their lives at the wedding and out on the dance floor. The guests were also a lot of fun. It was delightful to witness such a fun group of people

on such a special day.

Cutest Kids Contest - SUCH ADORABLE FACES!!

Wow! Our "Cutest Kid Contest" has been crazy! So far we've received over 50 entries of photos that have been submitted by parents and grandparents!

If you haven't checked out the photos, you should. All of these children are adorable....seriously...there are really some cute kiddos out there! The most unbelievable part about this to me is all the cheering on of contestants that is taking place on our facebook page under the contest gallery. These parents are REALLY SERIOUS about this...many have enlisted the help of their friends and family to vote. It's been fun to read all of the comments cheering each other on. I love the enthusiasm!

We also just posted a gallery of some of our favorite photos from our 2010 HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS....I would LOVE to see these teens and their parents/grandparents get as excited about their gallery as the parents of the little ones do.

I know there's "just something" about the excitement of being a new parent and having little ones....but I honestly have LOVED every age and every phase that my own kids have gone through. Looking back, I would tell you that every age was my favorite as my two were growing up.

When they were babies....I would have said that the infant stage was my favorite...

When they were toddlers....I would have said that I loved that age the best.

Elementary school....same thing...and on and on it goes....

Now that my two are grown, I totally LOVE about this age too. Chris is 21 and Katherine is 17 and just graduated from high school last week. I guess I can honestly say that I have loved and enjoyed them every minute of their lives. The truth is, every age is amazing and has it's own unique things to offer a parent. God blesses us each and every step of the way.

Originally, I had intended to featuring all of our Cutest Kids Contest Entry photos on our blog...but since we have over 50 entries already, I don't think my blog will even hold 50 photos in one writing! Therefore, I decided at this point, to feature a few of the photos....So, without further adieu, here are some of the photos that have the most votes so far, for our Cutest Kids Contest.
